Why are the mobility programs important for students?
First, mobility programs help students improve their language skills by communicating in a foreign environment daily. Second, they expose students to different educational systems, broadening their understanding of aerospace engineering. In addition, mobility allows them to gain cultural awareness and international connections, making them more competitive in the job market. Finally, Erasmus+ and other mobility opportunities foster personal growth, confidence, and flexibility—essential qualities for any successful professional.
Erasmus +
Erasmus+ is a European Union program that supports education, training, and international mobility for students and staff. It allows students to study abroad at partner universities while receiving financial support for living expenses. Through this experience, they gain new perspectives, improve language skills, and build an international professional network. In addition, Erasmus+ enhances cultural awareness, adaptability, and academic growth, making graduates more competitive in the global job market.
CEEPUS
CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) is a regional academic exchange program that supports student and teacher mobility. Unlike Erasmus+, which operates across Europe, CEEPUS focuses on Central and Southeastern Europe. It allows students to study abroad at partner universities while receiving a scholarship to cover living expenses. Through this program, participants gain international experience, improve language skills, and collaborate on research projects, all while deepening academic and cultural connections within the region.
Partner Universities in Mobility Programs
The upcoming image shows a map of universities that have signed agreements with the Institute of Aerospace Engineering for student exchange programs. Institutions marked in red represent partners within the Erasmus+ program, while those in yellow are part of the CEEPUS network. Thanks to these partnerships, students have the opportunity to study abroad, gain international experience, and expand their professional network in the field of aerospace engineering.
