On 31st October 2015 at the Jihlava airport, Jaromír Hammer, our test pilot, carried out the maiden flight of Cessna 172T airplane with the new turboprop engine TP100 manufactured by PBS Velká Bíteš a.s.
The test flights are coordinated and conducted by the employees of the Institute of Aerospace Engineering under the supervision of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA-CZ). The first two flights, which lasted more than two hours, proved excellent stability and control and showed high performance of the aircraft with the new propulsion unit.
